Hello BCF members
I'm helping a friend sell his 1969 MGB to give back some room in his parent's garage. Here's the thing, the car has been sitting stored in said garage for about 10 years. I've been told that the car ran when it was stored– I know, that's what they all say – and should run now. It is in pretty good shape as far as I can tell, good body, no rust California car, needs some mechanical work, nothing major. In my opinion, a little elbow grease and a few hydraulic fixes will get it back on the road again.
There hasn't been a purchase price set for the car as my friend hasn't any idea of what would be a fair price. I have some thoughts as to price but I'd like to leave that up to the market to work out. So make an offer of what you think you would be fair, and help him give back some garage space at his parents house, I know they would thank you tremendously.
I've setup a webpage with pictures and a description of the car, and what it probably needs to get her on the road again.
See the car at: 1969 MGB For Sale
Please take a look and if you have any interest in a small project (minor project to be sure) use the contact link on the page and make an offer.
If you don't need yet another project and want to give your opinion as to what would be a fair price for this B, please let me know and I'll forward that information onto my friend.
Thanks for any assistance.
