Greetings!

I have an opportunity to pick up a 1967 Spitfire Mk2. I have quickly looked the car over and it appears to be pretty solid and well kept. Before I go the next step and put it on a lift for closer examination, what is a reasonable price range?

Maybe $1500-3500 US? 'bout the best I can do without seeing at least a picture.

The NADA guide puts a value at somewhere between $4000-8750 US for "low" to "high" retail value. Their "low" is for essentially a pretty nice "driver" car, and their "high" is one step away from "show winner"! (whatever that means!)
