I don't believe there were quite that many tourers built in 1967, let alone one year....Total MGC production was only 8999 (9002 in some other counts)...so the 4542 count is most likely total tourer production over the 3 years.

1 Because of the overlap in car numbers it is not possible to say whether cars 146 to 754 were built in 1967 or 1968. Similarly, cars 4467 to 6032 might have been built in either 1968 or 1969.
One of our readers Bertil Olsson , has number 156 which was built in 1967.

No 1967 MGC's (roadsters & GT's) were shipped to North America..actually, there were only 14 LHD's built in that year...but, its a steel dash compared to an Abingdon Pillow dash.

'67 & '68 dashes are completely different...'68 Abingdon pillow dash was NOTHING like '67 steel dash!
