Friend of mine told me about this:

1967 Daimler Saloon,2.5 V8 (yeah - it's got a Hemi!),
RHD,4 speed w/overdrive,leather interior,White exterior,
& I think Burgundy interior,owner's & shop manuals.
They're asking $1800 for it.It's in the Olympia,Washington (South of Seattle)area.I have pictures,
if anyone's interested.

Now then, most of the Daimlers were automatic..... Hmmmm, that's intriguing. Wish I were a little closer. This would be one of the really late ones known as the 250. It's a fairly rare beast with the manual tranny.

Hello Steve,

as you know that the face lift cars are called 250s, you would also know that they are Jaguar MK 2s basically re-engined, and the picture request is to gauge condition?
Certainly a manual is very rare and, to me, more desirable than the much more common automatic.

why why why aren't there deals like that on this coast???????????????
I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Yeah and it may break your heart too!--Keoke

For that price I would take the chance. My only other choice is a more recent VP BTW, if you -Keoke- were going to go after a VP with flutes, what years & engines would you think best??

If it were just closer to Alabama!

Not fear that's one reason - across country & expense/time are bigger issues to me.

You're pretty far, but there are lots of west coasters here. A Southwest ticket is probably under $100! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Hi Doug,

I live in Olympia and am interested in looking at the car - I've been looking for a '67 BRG BGT for a while & have not found a suitable car locally. This Damlier may be just the ticket. I had the opportunity to buy an SP250 for $600 back when I was a young bloke but did'nt have available cash at the time. Now may be my chance.

Can you send any photos or a contact number.
