I would like to restore the speaker in centre console of the 66 MGB GT. Is anyone aware of someone who repairs the torn membrain or can replace it?

Like Doug I might be inclined to replace it but, there are youtube videos on how you can do it.

(an example)

I have been looking around for a replacement, but no one is able to find one in decent condition. I would even consider replacing it with a Bluetooth unit, but I would like one the same size that would bolt on to the console.

Found these on flea bay, may be a tad smaller than yours.

You can replace a 4 ohm speaker with an 8 ohm without doing any damage, would not be as loud.
8 Ohm speakers are more plentiful

Good plan! looks great and I am sure it will sound better. There are some (many?) parts that just don't need to sound original.
