1965 MG Midget value question

My friend has a chance to pick up a 100% original 65 Midget with 20k miles. Supposetly it is in "MINT" condition, having been garaged its entire life.

Can anyone give me an approximate value of this car in US$(assuming that it is as good as they claim it is)?

Thanks!

Mint, and is, and looks it, drive away cross country. 6 to 8K.

What you guys think??????????

I don't know Jack but if it is as described and was mine, I don't think I would sell it for that. Must understand that I am new to MGs so I am not really qualified to put a fair price on one. I would buy one in a heart beat for 4 to 5K.

Tom, lots of variables there and we really have no data, not even a pic. Is it a daily driver, a show quality one, or just what? Can we jump in and drive across country, how good are seats, engine, top, tires, etc, etc.

I bet Tony would say 2K but then.........

Heck Jack, I'm not one to argue that. Remember I'm the one that has probably spent more than that on paint and still not finished with paint.
