Thanks - I have had this 1960 MGA with a 1963 MGB engine since college - 45 years ago - rebuilding frame-up - about 85% complete - 5 years - but retired now & working on it most days - getting close - body work still sucks! LOL!
Yup! STILL. Found this the other day, brother workin' on his MGA, my first MGB Shot sometime mid-1972. There's my Elan behind the B in the garage. Taillight barely visible.
The best piece of advice I can give is to be sure you have a shop manual, and read it carefully. These engines aren't difficult to rebuild, but you do have to do it right.
