Mike's Garage in Overland Park, KS is the most reasonably priced place you are going to find. First, you want to purchase Haynes SU Carburetors Manual from one of the big parts supplier. Get the machine work done, and the rest is fairly straight forward.

Curious,

This post is from a Mike, in Overland Park, KS. Is this a setup??

I think Joe Curto is one of, if not the best, carb men in North America.

Granted he is not in Overland Park, Ks.....

Ron, Mikes Garage did a lousy job last time so I am going to try a new shop. Where is Joe Curto located?

Thanks.

Mike

Aloha Mike,

Here is a link to Joe Curto, his business is in New York.

A closer place to you to get a rebuild is in Bartlesville, OK. Jim Taylor has done at least three sets of carbs for me. He doesn't have a wabsite, but you can call him at (918)333 3444. The Jaguar Clubs of North America website has an article by him here:

Very informative about the rebuild process so you can decide if you want to do it yourself or send it out. Also good info on maintaining them.

I found him through the North American MG "T" Registry and I have been pleased with his work.

Howdy Dave,

Thanks for the info. Bartlesville is just a couple hundred miles down the highway from me. I will give him a call.

The TF is my favorite MG.

Mike
