TR2/3/3A 1960 TR 3A square spier nuts on headlight assembly

Had a quick go at installing them yesterday, didn't have much luck. They fit on the headlicht portion of the apron. Any particular trick about getting them installed? Nothing in the SP catalog but they can be seen in the MOSS headlamp page.
Thanks, Dick

As I recall, last time I just clamped the nut in some needle-nose vise grips, then set one edge in the hole and used a small screwdriver to press the other edge into place.

But then I found some nylon things at FLAPS that push in from the front and lock as the screw goes through. Much better, IMO, so that's what I use now. They are totally hidden once the headlight is installed.

Thanks Randall that's just the tip I needed! Used my needle-nose vice grips and they slipped right in like they belonged there.
Now its on to the restof the assembly. Still have to do a little painting on the older parts but will do that this evening so they will be dry tomorrow.

Dick
