1960 BN7 Hardtop

I find myself with a hardtop question. A friend brought a top for a 4 seater, but he has a 2 seater 1960 3000 model. He says the top is the same, but the bottom rear rail is different. I can't see how the tops are the same. I also see a lot of modifications to make the bottom rail fit. My biggest question is how thick is the bottom rail gasket?
I think I can massage it to fit but don't know for sure.
I have a small shop but have milling, welding, forming, and fabricating equipment and experience. My last job was fabbing parts and repairing pieces on a 48 and a 53? Allard.

The 2-seater top closely follows the curvature of the shroud. The 4-seater top sits on a raised edge on the shroud.

The tops are different. Take a look at the pics of the 1960 Healeys at Sebring. They were 2 seaters with hardtops. There are probably more pics at different races. They needed the 2 seaters to make room for the larger gas tanks in the trunk. The tops on those bn7 Healeys look shorter.
