TR2/3/3A 1957 tr3 HARDWARE QUESTIONS

Since I didn't disassemble my car, I have no idea what the hardware for mounting the control box, fuse box, starter solenoid, or blanking plate over the steering hole in the bulkhead looks like. Any help (pictures) and where I might find this stuff will be appreciated. TRF lists the part #s I got from the parts manual as NA

For the control box, fuse box and starter solenoid, there is a funky piece of hardened bent sheet metal that snaps into the hole in the bulkhead. Fortunately they are still available (TRF P/N FC2805).

The screw that goes into the "fix" nut was kind of strange too, with squared off "sheet metal" threads and a wide, short "binder" type head with a slot. In a pinch, you can use drywall screws with a 1/4" washer under the head, but I don't know of a decent replica available offhand.

Excellent info Randall...I've been looking for that nut for 3 months now!

Thanks again,

John
