1955 Ford F100

Are you going to put a Daimler V8 in it thus making it an honorary Brit?

I've done it the other way.
I put a 3/4 race Mercury Flathead in my 1949 Willys and showed up at an Early Ford V-8 Club Meet.
The "rule" was early Ford powered vehicles (flathead V-8, six, and 4).
They did NOT want to let some Willys in.....so I popped the bonnet.....and they waved me through.

I think that 55 F-100 needs a V-12 in it.

Although it's drivetrain is no longer what it left Dearborn with, it's still all Ford (302, toploader, 9"). Can't imagine trying to explain to someone a Daimler V8 transplant let alone a V12.

But it would be fun.
I've been working on a V-12.
Guy has body, interior, paint and top done, after 22 years or maybe 23.
I got the motor running, finally quit fogging the neighborbood (every six months he would pull all 12 plugs, pour one full quart between them all of motor oil, roll it over and put the plugs back in.

Did that for 20 years before he let me get it running.

Took 10 months of running it periodically in his garage before 2 or 3 houses didn't completely dissappear in a blue cloud.

1941 Lincoln V-12 convertible, it is.

TOC, Had a feeling you meant flat head when you said V12.
My guess, transplanting these 16 would light up your eyes (they're pretty).
