Does anyone know this 1953 BN1 currently listed on Ebay #4565608667
It is located in Portland Oregon
Reid Trummel is this one in your stable?
I would like some additional background information about the car
supposedly 1 of 55
TIA - jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

It certainly is not 1 of 55 cars. I also find it strange it is listed as a 6 cylinder. Could be a simple mistake or the seller has no idea which in that case...

And we are back to the great eBay word listed all over this description - Rare.

Regardless I would not buy this car without a really close inspection.

hopefully Reid is not traveling, so he could check this one out for us and report back to the group. jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Some things I've noticed:
- 1 mile since full restoration completed. I hope he put some miles on the car during the resto to "shake out" the bugs.
- CALL TO DISCUSS VIN. Is he concerned about posting it on eBay, or is there something more going on here?
- Concorse[sic] ready. I don't think so (if we can relay on the pictures he's posted) where's the distributor? is the parking brake suppose to come up *that* high? where's the carpeting and kick panels, etc...?

If "Every part of this car has been fixed" then he really should have taken fresh pictures to show it off.

My 2 cents.

Reid - thanks for following up for me, it is greatly appreciated - the car to stay away from!!!
