I notice the placement of the gauges... the speedometer is further from the driver, the "engine health" gauges closer. I guess in 1949 engine health was more critical than getting a speeding ticket !

Very nice! But I always thought that the 2000 was built on a Vanguard chassis rather than the welded-up tube chassis of the 1800?
