1940 Ford Sedan

On my way into work this AM about 6:15. Spotted a beautiful 40 Ford Sedan (burgandy color) going torwards downtown LA on the 110 Freeway right by Dodger Stadium. Would have taken a photo but I ride my motorcycle into work everyday, guess I need to get a camera mounted on the handlebars.

We have an unrestored one at our local cruise night all the time.
 
Yep, a 40 Ford Coupe is on my short list of cars I want to buy if I win a majorly large lottery!

Yup, deluxe opera coupe, distintive grille. with the Mag wheels, small block(265) chevy,39 LaSalle box with floor shifter, Grant wheel and chromed glove box, tube shock conversion , dual exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers, diamond tuck black leather interior(won San Bernardino county fairgrounds car show for best interior back in it's day,

Wonderful red paint job that turned orange under fluorescent lights... Sadly 1st wife made me sell it.. Shoulda kept the car and gotten rid of her...
