Yes. The owner, who told me he was one year younger than the car, said it had been updated years ago. He knew it has a Moto Guzzi engine, but couldn’t tell me anything about the brakes or suspension. He thought they might’ve been off of another English car of some sort, but the A arms look like they were fabricated.
 
An update and a small world!
I posted this in April and by chance met the owner’s widow and got more details. The owner died in late May. He had built the car, a kit/replica of a Morgan 3 wheeler, over a couple years and had been driving it often for 5 or 6 years. She knew it was Moto Guzzi powered and told me he drove it all over the North SF Bay area. He willed it to a friend that had helped build it… so great to hear.
