YESSSSS! that's cool.
The Hupmobile has been one of my favorite makes for years.
I often use it when referring to the obscurity of some part, or when referring to somthing made of unobtanium.
It's sounds so "made-up" to most people.
I was going to buy it..but my buddy that I'm building a 71 BGT for wanted it(his wife did actually) so I backed off and he bought that and then when the Model T went on the block at the same auction..he acted for me..over the phone..and I got the T. Five days later my neighbor came to the shop and made me an offer on it...he now owns it.
But the point is that the Hupmobile really exists. Kinda like giong on a "Snipe hunt"... It's real, but not truly relavent.
BTW... Did that museum ever accept your Spitzgrummish?
They were interested until they learned it was an Agamemnon... Turns out they already had a better example. Seems th' Spitzgrummish Motor Works turned out more Agamemnons than I thought (3). They said they're holdin' out for a Prometheus. *sigh*
