16" Wheels

Got my heritage cert, and my BN1 was originally fitted with 16" wheels, another typo error?

Yep, probably. I never heard anyone mention 16" inch on a BN1, although I think I saw a picture of an early development Healey 100 with 16 inch steel wheels.

Healeys raced at Sebring with 16 inch Dunlop racing wheels.

There is one passing mention of the Rally cars using sixteen inch wheels. This of course would have been in the Sixties and related to the 100-6 and 3000. I have only seen this one time and have not been able to verify it.

well it is a very early BN1

Are they disc wheels or wire wheels? I think all BN1s & BN2s came with wire wheels. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
