1500 Valve Cover Bolts

I recently acquired a used aluminum valve cover at a swap meet but it did not come with any different attachment bolts. Removing the original valve cover and placing the new (used) valve cover on the cylinder head the original attachment bolts are too short. Question "Do these type of valve covers come with longer attachment bolts?" "If the original bolts are used then what type of gasket is used?" (I have a new cork gasket that raises the cover about a 1/4".)

Thanks,

Gary

I believe thru VB you can get silicone gaskets. They seal a lot better and are reuseable. As far as bolts you may be able to get them thru VB also or just your local hardware store.
