Does any LBC supplier make a hex nipple adapter to change from the block threads of 5/8"-18tpi to 3/4"-16tpi? The 3/4" is the standard oil filter thread size. You can find the 3/4 anywhere. The 5/8" filter is scarce except for Moss, etc.
This change seems so simple that someone must have done it before.
A hex nipple of the above dimensions isn't found as a normal stocked item at McMasters-Carr so it will have been made (if at all) specifically for this adaptation.
