There's a 1500 suspended gas pedal for sale on the MGE bst forum for those of you who would like to upgrade from the early organ style. NFI...

Will that fit a Bugeye?

With a little bit of work it will but it is easier to just put a "peddle" on your existing bugeye bracket and use it

Thanks, Bill. I do like the idea, my big clomper feet need all the room they can get in a Bugeye.

I ran my first BE for many miles with nothing but the end of the lever for a gas pedal and it worked quite well that way. I didn't have a place to attach the pedal at the bottom because the floor board had been replaced with what appeared to be the side of a white refrigerator!

Drew,
it will fit, but you need to use a self tapping screw in the mount closest to the pedal. I drilled a hole all the way thru and the back side is hard to access when using a nut and bolt. It makes a huge difference for those of us with big feet!

Thanks, Rut. As a bigfoot myself (13EEEE) I'm going to need to make some changes in the pedal box.

I'm going to wait until I have my body shell back before I start planning though.

I just bought it. A present for Bugsy II
