IIRC, folks who had either or said the original cable was too long. So said they had a custom cable made others I believe said they used the 1275 cable. is this correct? My cable is shot and has been hacked to death by the PO.
 
Go to a bicycle shop and get what you need cheap
 
It's amazing how it completely transforms the car. Gotta be careful or I'll blow it up.
