13" tires?

Many "classic" owners have Corvair, Falcon, and some old Mercedes.

They all use 13" tires.

Any idea where to get 13" passenger tires these days? Other than the $200/each Coker and Diamondback, etc.

Also - if a car is used for Sunday day trips and "driving around the block", car shows, etc. - what's to prevent using 13" trailer tires for driving? There are many brands of 13" trailer tires; there are apparently NO brands of standard 13" passenger tires.

What's the actual result of driving on trailer tires?

Thanks.
Tom

Re: 13" tires?

Thanks. The size most folks are looking for is 185/80R13. That's the one that always seems to be lacking.

Funny thing is that Maxxis and Firestone both still make that size, but they're not available in North America.
