I was going to adjust the valves on the car this weekend and was wondering if the 1275 specs are the same as the 948 at .012 cold?

Thanks, I found on the mini mania site .012 hot, but I thought I read that should be .012 cold. Gonna have to postpone it anyhow, tried to do some work and a week and a half out of AC joint surgery isn't allowing me to wrench anyhow. Didn't work out so well when I tried.

What do you use to measure the gap?

Feeler gauges
I normally set the valves at .013 since a little loose may be noisy but too tight will burn valves

I use an old stepped go no go feeler gauge. Helps take a little of the guess work out.
Craftsmen I think or MAC maybe.
