Where would be the best market to sell a 1200cc motor and tranny? Ebay or is there a better forum to sell it on?

I would say fair. It ran OK when I pulled it out. #3 was a little down on comression and it was burning a little oil.

Hap at acmespeedshop was looking for cores. You might email him.

1200 cc, what is it? where is it? what did it come out of?

Where in Ky?

I think he is near Paducah. A bit far away from Hamilton.

I am about 6 1/2 hours from Hamilton. I was up there (lawenceburg) last month at the Main line race auction. They have repaved the west kentucky so the drive is not as bad as it has been.

True, I was just on the WK on before Christmas, and we made very good time (little traffic).

Hmm....I've got it! Trevor drives to Paducah, picks up the 1275, I drive to Louisville and take it from there! Sort of like passing the Olympic torch. Why, I could even spend some time down on Fourth Street. (Just kidding)
Trevor: Are they having the show this year in Louisville? It is usually early June if I recall. Great get together at a beautiful location.

I try to limit my visits to Western KY (In-Laws) :-(

Yes, the show is on and the info is here:

Surely, in Cincinnati, there are plenty of spridget engines to be had. Of course, Dick may have a very reasonable price that makes the drive worth while.

Complete engine... I paid $250 for mine, and I also found a long block for $150. I just watched the papers and put out the word to my local Brit car club. I think I paid too much because later I saw an add for a running midget (although otherwise trashed) for $450.
