100S

Hi, My name is Randy Myers and I just registered with this BBS although I frequent another BBS more often - maybe that will change.

I am a former 3000 owner and have been in love with healeys since I bought my first car (1960 MGA). I currently own two A's and a B and am interested in getting back in the Healey business.

I suspect this will be a long search but I think the reward will be there in the end. I am looking for a 100S. I know that there were very few built (52?) and though many have been accounted for, some have not and these are the ones I am looking for (one will due). In lieu of that, a restored or excellent original will do.

Yea, I know, Big Bucks but I want to own a very special car this time and would like to have the 100S and a mark three, phase two represent the healey end of my british car collection.

Any help along this lines would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy

Welcome, and good luck with your search for a 100S (my favorite of the big Healeys).

Would a 100-4 do you for awhile?

I'm told they drive nice...

In fact, I've always kinda wanted to take one out for a spin.

Luke,

Its not that I need something to tide me over, I'm just looking for my next project. I fell in love with healeys when a neighbor of mine bought one when I was a teenager. He was fresh out of the army and had managed to requisition enough olive drab to paint his car. It looked like he had painted it with a broom but it still was a great car.

Hi Randy;

I was just driving thru /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif & would like to pass on a warm "Welcome" from NE PA:

As many have suggested here; Introduce yourself to the Healey people & chances are probably good that you`ll find your "S": Worst case cenario; You`ll have a bunch of enthusiasts looking for yourself /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grouphug.gif

Best Wishes in your find;

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif
