Thought I would pass on the sale of the very nice, fully
restored white 100M at Amelia Island - went for $143,000.
Don't know if that includes the fees they add on but sure
shows some 100M's are still bringing big bucks for a nice car.
This was at RM Auctions sale.
Regards,
Mike

Mike, your killing my articles in the Healey Marque with these previews. (J/K)

Seriously though, the big news was the sale of the 100S at Gooding for over $630K!!!!!

Both are strong prices, reflecting no softening of the market for these models. The 100M was even single-color white (not a good color for exciting bidders).

I'm looking forward to Bill's column in an upcoming issue of HEALEY MARQUE discussing these are other recent sales.

Looking forward to Bill's article too, with pictures hopefully...always interesting to see what money will buy.

Hi Guys!

I was there this weekend. Snapped this pic of the 100. Thought this was the sale price? Lot's of very nice cars!!!

A friend of mine who I went with is also friends of Wayne Carini. Got to meet him.

Bob

I had the chance to examine the S up close before it was shipped to Florida for about an hour in a quiet garage. I spoke with a representative of the owner and learned a bit of the car's history. It will make a good article.

Yikes, $630,000 for a 100S !!! Love Bill's articles in the Healey Marque magazine. Nice to know all those justifications to buy my Healey as far
as increasing in value, better investment than DJ, etc have turned out to be true. And my wife always thought I was making those up ! Agree with Reid, the single color white 100M was not a particularly eye catching color so would have been interesting to see what a black over red or red over black might have sold for.
Regards,
Mike

Which, according to the BMIHT cert., was the original colors of the car. Oh, the irony ...

bob, the 100m i recently sold aka "the pool healey" is solid healey blue body, blue interior and blue top as per the heritage cert. they made very few as this.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. If after restoring your toy, you can get your money back if you had to - that's a good thing. If however you can realize a profit - you got lucky.

After all is said and done the value means nothing if you have no intention of selling.

Agatha in my lifetime will not be for sale unless I find myself flat broke.

I think it is an all blue Healey - inside and out?

What is "the pool healey"?

A piece of ROT that was fished out of a swimming pool.
