This is simply wrong!
This is not what a catalytic converter does.
It takes 5 seconds of reading that page to realize it's a joke / scam.
 
I always run my gas through a sieve when filling my car and strain them big ones out. Then it is a simple matter to smash those big molecules with a hammer before putting them in the tank.

Of course, if there are too many I dump them in a cardboard box and take them along. It provides great entertainment for my granddaughters when they visit.

Absolutely. Look, if the thing were valid, would they have to resort to a website with hysterical, high-pressure ad copy? If it were for real, you'd be reading about it everywhere. Even then, I'd be skeptical--there are plenty of people out there hawking perpetual motion machines.

I actually took the time to watch the video (dumb me). They talk about building their own test lab with dynamometer to dial in each customers specific motor. Weeeeee. I noticed that the video around the test engine did NOT have their gizmo attached to it. Looked like stock footage from the 70’s judging from the hair.
 
I am still trying to find those water carbs from the 60"s that were going to put the oil companies out of business. I tried "Conspirasy's R' Us" but they are out of stock.
 
That's almost as good as the ad I saw for the hydrogen electrolyzer that promises I'd be able to fuel my car with only water, have the electrolyzer break down the water into hydrogen and oxygen and run the car on that alone. Better yet, the exhaust is water, so you can recapture the water and run indefinitely on a tank of water! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif

I had the same idea when I was younger, but then I learned about them new-fangled laws of thermodynamics. Darn them. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

I remember when I was stationed in an Oklahoma Naval Air Station, we got a bunch of F4U Corsairs in that needed engine up grades. I don't know how it worked or the technical theory behind it but the new engines had a water injection system on them. It was supposed to give a burst of extra power in a dog fight. Supposedly, it could only be used for seconds at a time as the exhaust got so hot it would burn the collector pipes off the engine if left on too long. I won't get into it but there's a famous documented F4U war story about the water injection being left on in a panic and this actually happened. He was out of amo. and being chased by a Zero. He made it!
