I was going to post in the 100M thread but it apparently has been closed.
If you look in the 100M Registry website, in the E and EC car section, car EC-15 was a BN1 that was built to 100 M specifications. The owner, who has since sold the car, was the 2nd owner and drove it regularly for many, many years.
I guess you could check with Bill Meade to confirm the documentation that was supplied.
 
Hi Bob, I will contact Bill, but I just wonder if this car was built to 100M or "Le Mans" specs. They are not the same. No question in my mind that the "Le Mans" cars were somewhat a 100M prototype and the were 100's of them.

As AHCA 100 Registrar, I'm most interested in the numbers, specs, and documented history. What chassis/vin # was the prototype? What were the exact specs?, Does it still exist? Unfortunately records were not kept and probably never know for sure. Fortunately as we keep digging, new/old info does pop up.

Hi Randy,
I have a folder with some of the info about the car that i will try to find that gave some of the history of the car. I'll try to dig it out and see if i can get an answer for you. It does have the VIN number. It was sold at auction maybe 5 years ago and I don't know where it is now. It was unrestored.
