100-6 with a 100-4 grill?

Maybe the previous owner was attempting to make a BN3 replica. These were Healey factory mules used to test the six cylinder engines in the four cylinder frames before production of the 100/6. As this vehicle has the 100/6 interior I doubt it is one of the originals.

Hello Steve K. I hope you don't mind my nosing around your homepage, but you did include the URL in this post. Couldn't help but notice the "Frog" appearing to be sitting on a rooftop! I'll try and include in this post. Just wondering how it got up there.

Frogs jump don't they! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif The car is on the drive of my in-laws house which is part of a series of buildings converted from an old stable and coach house which used to belong to a manor house just up the road (which is for sale - Cransley Hall - for those of you with a little loose cash burning a hole in your pocket). The height is deceptive. Beyond the wall is a rock garden which is about three feet high and then a long, sloping garden that goes to within about 10 yards of the church.

Real or not, it sure gets your attention. NICE, wish he had spent as much time on the interior, but 15K was't bad. Wayne

Re: 100-6 with a 100-4 grill? Is this another BN3?

Could this car be another rare and lost BN3 as per the article in this months Austin Healey USA magazine? The car looks quite similar to the one in that article.

It sure looks very nicely done.

Bill
