100-6 Brake Lights

All lights are good but when I step on the brakes, no brake lights, so I thought. I turned off the lights, stepped on the brakes and they come on slowly but VERY dim. Only LED's are in dash. Any ideas?
 
Check the brake pressure switch in the engine compartment, passenger side, at the 4-way brake line connector. Using alligator clips connect the two terminals on the lower side of brake switch and then turn on the the Ignition switch. If the brake light come on and are bright then you have a bad brake switch. This is the usual problem.

Thanks Peter, I got ahold of my Healey mechanic and he said as you did, it is a common problem and he is going to change the switch next week when he puts a new oil pan gasket on. Thanks very much,
