100/6 BN4 Fuel Tank feed

Hi friends

My fuel tank, unlike many that have a brazed / welded threaded connection, has a thread straight in to the tank
However I have bought a new kit which has a female connection which I believe to be 1/4 bsp and needs an adaptor to connect straight into the tank
Does anyone recognise this fitting and could tell me what thread it is?

The first two photos show the connection for an early BN4 fuel tank. The third photo shows the connection for the later system which came in with the 'Abingdon' 100-Sixes. You could just use the old threaded nut and olive and fit them to the new copper tubing?

Derek...it occurs to me that is the best solution. Interesting about the tanks though, mine's a 58 100/6 BN4

Using the old fittings whenever possible may be the best option. Trying to match those old British fittings is next to impossible, at least locally here. I have scoured all sorts of parts suppliers without much luck. Some of them might be British Parallel Pipe Thread, which just is not used much in North America these days. You may want to replace the olive, if the old one seems damaged or distorted; a new olive may not be hard to find.

Learnt how to solder, new olive on the end of the pipe..........bingo, sorted
Thanks everyone
