100/4 Inheritance my new project

Hello everyone. I've been away from the board for awhile since selling my racing Spridget and dealing with some health issues with myself and my father. So I thought I'd post a note about my new project that has been left to me with the passing of my father last year.

I'm now the proud owner of a 55 Healey 100/4 project. This was a project that my father and I worked on together some years ago. The chassis is all de-rusted, the engine is pretty much built, and the trans and overdrive were done by the fine folks at Fourintune. It's got tons of work to be done on it, but I'm looking forward to the next few years getting it back together. I have a feeling it'll be somewhat of a sentimental journey.

I'll be following others projects on this board as well as posting many questions along the way.

Hey David,
That's great and hope you and your Dad's health is doing great also. Keep the pictures coming, would love to see the progress. Lucky you to have Tom Kovacs do the O/D and tranny work !!!
Regards,
Mike

Best of luck, and by saying that if you really follow the manual, albums from Andrea, Rich to name a few, your going to do quite well...

Mike,
I'm pretty fortunate to be so close to Tom Kovacs shop. I'll keep pics coming as I get the chassis down from its perch and in position to work on it.

I'm going to be in Hilton Head in October and planning to bum around Beaufort for a day. Care to give me a tour of your M? Cocktails?
