100 4 Gear Reduction Starter

Tony--

Dunno but I got the one for my 100 from this place:

https://www.gustafsonmachine.com/3brit.html

He sold it to me direct probably about 7-8 years ago though I see he now has a bunch of dealers listed on his website.

I bought one for the 3000 a few years later from "British Starters" which is listed on his dealer page.

I also have one on the Courier but I can't remember where I bought it.

The one for the 100 fit fine out of the box. The one for the 3000 required a bit of shimming. They can be a bit difficult to fit because of the way the bolt for the bottom ear mounts--there is just enough room to get it in place. In fact I made a new front plate with threads in the ears for the one on my Courier so I can bolt it up from the rear without having to use a nut.
