I have a standard crankshaft that I want to sell, it came out of our vintage racer (we are going w/a billet one now), it has been nitrated and is crack free, all bearing surfaces are excellent. I would gather it is worth over $1,000. Anyone have an idea on its value?
Thanks
ED

The following prices are from the UK:
Denis Welch, nitrided steel, Works type = <span style="font-style: italic">L</span>1,950,
Cape International, steel = <span style="font-style: italic">L</span>1,820, and
AH Spares, reground original = <span style="font-style: italic">L</span>1,100.

Multiply those by ~1.62 to convert Pounds to US Dollars, add shipping and, maybe duty, and $1,000 is a good deal.
