A little bit overdue, but August marked my 10th anniversary with Baby Blue. It's the longest I've owned any car. I've put about 14,000 miles on the car since I first purchased it, and done just about everything you can do mechanically short of an engine rebuild. B.B. doesn't see quite as much driving time these days with my daughter at school on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, but I still take it out for regular exercise, and sometimes the Mrs. and I will take the car to our local ice cream stand.

...and I couldn't have done it without the help of so many here at BCF. Thank you!

Happy anniversary - and congrats. May I also say I know how much Baby Blue means to your daughter and it boggles my mind that she is a teenager now too! (not that we get any older :rolleyes2:

JP -- she just turned 20 and is no longer a teenager. But, she loves her Baby Blue. We hear from her teachers how she will sometimes just blurt out "Buh Buh Buh", which they thought was a verbal stim, but she was talking about the car.

20! yikes. that is amazing - and lovely (though not surprising) that the car continues to big an important part of her thoughts and memory.
