07 Triumph Daytona 675 converted to Street Triple

Late 2007 I found a Triumph Daytona locally. It had been rear ended, and needed some TLC. Having been awarded the 2006, and 2007 bike of the year trophy, I know it was a bike worth spending the $ on.

I started out tripping the bike, and identifying what needed to be fixed. I needed a new set of headlights, flyscreen, rear subframe, front gauge mount....and some other small stuff. After looking around online, I soon realized that I could buy another smashed bike for what it would cost me in replacement parts. So I started looking. Found one in LA, that had been hit in the front. So, I started my puzzle. Took one goof rear, and put it together with the good front.

The first bike looke like this when I got her....

Very nice work! I'm a big fan of modern Triumphs (I've got a Bonnie myself).

Muchos gracias! This bike is absolutely INSANE!!! The weight to power ratio, suspension, brakes, torque....she puts a smile on my face every day :yesnod:

Somehow, it seems that this video should be inserted here, it just fits nicely!! :jester:

I am looking at getting the same bike, I just emailed about the scorched yellow one in indiana on triumph675 net. I am just working on either shipping, otherwise he said he may meet me half way and pay him for his time. Ill let you know. I do like the bike though, nice work.
