I'm sure this has been discussed previously, but is the head torque value listed in the service manual for lubricated or non-lubricated threads? I recently did the re-torque while hot procedure, and could feel a definite difference between the dry outside studs, and the studs under the rocker...
What's the consensus on using Loctite instead of the original lock tabs? From what I've read the lock tabs are made of fairly soft material, which could compromise the torque/tension of the bolt.
My thought is replacing the lock tab with a hardened washer and using Loctite for torque...
