What are the pros and cons for full synthetic oil in a 948cc engine
I contacted Castrol andthey mentioned an oil of theirs that they thought would protect an older engine-- Castrol EDGE 5W-50. It is a full synthetic oilthat has high ZDDP -- the only Castrol oil with high ZDDP. They said it has a boosted level of ZDDP (1250 ppm) to help protect flat tappet cam...
