Midget 1500 1977 Smog pump/Air Injection Pipe
Hi all, I have a 77 Midget 1500, California emissions. In the shop manual it shows a rubber hose coming off the rear of the smog pump, to a check valve, and to a metal "air injection pipe." It doesnt show where the pipe attaches to. This is NOT the pipe with the 4 ports to the cylinder head... -

Spitfire Newbie amateur mechanic needs help w/California smog equipment
Hello Spitfire Owners & Others, I am trying to "Restore" a 1977 Spitfire to pass the California Smog Testing. It belongs to a friend who was required to return to Australia and couldn't sell his car because it was a "Cheater" with the Weber carb, headers, etc. I've purchased (for him) 1976...
