Sprite Brake Lights
Last April I pulled the engine and rebuilt it, reinstalled and now brake lights do not work. Installed new ignition switch. Ran a jumper wire across brake switch. Pulled all 3 wires from tail light and put a test light to each one and the test light turns on. The wires at the brake switch are...- sim

Oil cap shorts Ignition???
I was tooling down the freeway last night when Gidget my 58 Sprite started to sputter and cough losing power intermittently . I started to pull to the side of the road and she starting running fine again for a couple of miles so I continued on. After a mile or so the sputtering became bad again...
