TR6 Looking for Oil Filler Cap TR4/TR6
Where can I find a chrome or polished stainless oil filler cap? I have a 6 cyl chrome valve cover, the opening is 1 3/4" ID, 2 1/4" OD with tabs on the cap that are bent over to engage the external lip of the valve cover. I've been to TRF, Victoria, Moss, Rimmer (they have the galvanized type)...- roadsteroldster

Oil cap shorts Ignition???
I was tooling down the freeway last night when Gidget my 58 Sprite started to sputter and cough losing power intermittently . I started to pull to the side of the road and she starting running fine again for a couple of miles so I continued on. After a mile or so the sputtering became bad again...
