I found this car on Offer Up for $2k a few years ago. Had been in sitting in a barn since 1976. Former owner had replace engine with 1100 and disc brakes. I spent last couple years reviving all the mechanical, interior, exhaust. I own two other vintage classics, but I can’t stop driving this one.
I have a 1959 frogeye that is in need of a engine rebuild / replacement and welding to floor sills and at least one arch.
I believe I have found a decent body shop to do the welding ( dies anyone have any ideas what I should expect to pay ?) ,but in regards to the engine I think I should forget...

I am looking at replacing the front chassis frame on my Mk1 - sometimes referred to as the H-section. I notice that Moss parts don't list one for the Mk1.
Is availability of replacements this section a problem then?
Is there any interchangeability with this and the later "(c) H-AN6 to (c)...
