    Refurbishing the trunk lid

    I don't know how to proceed to refinish the trunk lid. Since there is a stand off stiffening structure that makes reaching all of the internal surface almost impossible, how do I eliminate rust and then prime and paint to reduce the recurrence of rust? I can coat the surface with apple vinegar...
