General TR Ramtech EFI fuel injection

Just curious if anyone has had communications with Ramtech in the last year (the last time his website was updated). I was ready to purchase his EFI kit for my 1973 TR6, but have not heard back from him in the two weeks since contacting him.

Disregard, I did hear back from Ramin and now getting ready to place an order for his EFI kit. Doing the conversion at the time of an engine pull this winter, so hopefully somewhat easy.

Tri meaning three Strombergs, Webers, or SU's? Here was what I was thinking;
(1) Expected power increase with fuel injection of 12 to 18%, based on the comparative ratings I see in the old BL competition preparation manual and the specs provided in the factory shop manual. Obviously, there would be an increase in power with three carbs too, but that much?
(2) Price wise, the new EFI system is comparable in cost to the three Weber conversion.
(3) Improved cold starts with the EFI and (hoping for) easier setup/tuning with the EFI over carbs.
Thanks for your feedback Mad dog - I'd like to hear more of your thoughts on one system vs. the other, I do appreciate it. I'll send pix this winter.

RE fuel injection power increase. The TR5s and domestic market TR6s had a hotter cam and I believe a higher compression ratio than US spec cars. All those things worked together to up HP.

Agree with glemon.

Adding power takes a balance of fueling (adjustment, carbs or FI), a cam and compression.

But the benefit of startups, and tuning will be achievable.
