British cars do you have?
I had a '71 Corolla 1200 fastback.Swapped a 1600 into it & lowered it.
Had it painted a really bright White & put '74 SR5 metal fender flares on it.
I left them shiny Black,& had the bottom of the car painted black & then put
Shelby 4 spoke wheels & Radial T/A s on it.
Also ran hillclimbs in Northern California & Oregon.

Just bought a '60 Bugeye on bring a trailer, but it's undriveable, and the serial number is sketchy. Working on that! I put 310,000 on a '72 1600 I bought new!

The '60 has a 948, one carb is pouring gas out the overflow, brakes almost non-existent.

Have had a '59 since the 80's, 1275 moderately tweaked, so that it needed limited slip, made it a totally different car. But paint was cracking when I got it, it sat outside under a car cover for 20 years, which didn't help. I'm swapping the engines, and the LSD.

Turns out, the 1275 has a 948 exhaust manifold, so I'm putting a header on while swapping, with larger diameter pipe from there back.

After the '72 Corolla, I bought a '71, if it had 140K when I bought it, it had 540K when I finally ran out of spare parts!

I spotted this '71 Corolla 1200 about 15 miles West of Petersburg.
It's the same color as the one I had,but has some rust on the body,but
the interior was in good shape.
The owner asked me "How much would you give me for it?",to which
I replied "But I don't really want it".It was tempting,but I still need to work
on the '80 Fiesta that's been in the garage for some time.

That's the coupe, as opposed to the sedan. My 1st race car was sedan, 2nd was coupe.
