Shipping update, heard from the driver today, looking like Thursday night or Friday morning for delivery. He sent me a tracking pin, now I will spend the next 2 days incessantly checking his location. 
That's Otis the ’76. Bought him a year ago out of Colorado, a really good find. Love to see some pics of yours!
Great looking car! Hope the next one is what you expect. Thanks for sharing.I got word yesterday that my new Bugeye has been loaded up on a truck to make the journey from Connecticut to Utah! If all goes well the car should arrive here in a week or so.
In the mean time, my 2nd blue RHD Bugeye came in.

Lovely Cruiser! Funny thing for me is that my new Bugeye and the 40 are both blue, and both have about the same cruising speed.

The Bugeye is home! Showed up yesterday as expected, and the (very young, or maybe I’m just getting old) driver took good care getting it off the truck.
Truck coming down my street
Little Sprite up on the top level. There’s another sprite up there as well so they had good company as they traveled across the country
Driver had never driven a Sprite or RHD before (someone from Bugeyeguys drove it onto the truck) so I had to give him some pointers up in the truck. Here he is pulling the car off the truck. Backing onto that elevator/ramp at height is not for the faint of heart, boy was I glad to have the car back on the ground!
And safely on the ground in my driveway
Didn’t have much chance to drive it yesterday, but this is without a doubt the nicest Bugeye I’ve ever been in. Given it was restored over 20 years ago, it has held up well and the additional work that Bugeyeguys did for a previous owner seems very solid. Even at my elevation (6500’) the car pulls strongly with it’s little 948 engine.
Plans? Drive it. Maybe in a couple years think about a 1275/5 speed conversion, but for now I’m just ecstatic to have the Sprite I’ve wanted since I started this LBC journey over 20 years ago.
Home in the shop. Somehow I’ve put together a collection of all my favorite cars.

Me too! So far this car seems to be in excellent shape and absolutely as advertised/described. Already starting to put together a list of a few things I'll need to address, but nothing big and nothing a surprise. For a 20 year old restoration the bodywork has held up really well.
Feels so good to be back in a Bugeye. A RHD Bugeye really became my dream car over the last 20 years, and I'm not let down at all now that I have one. Needs a good full service and I'll be putting on some miles.

When we moved here my wife told me to make sure I didn't build the shop too small. So I didn't.

A final delivery update for the little Bugeye. Got to the DMV today to get the paperwork sorted out. Was able to use the 1959 UT plates I bought for my last Bugeye project that never got finished.
I’ll also take a moment to shoutout David at Bugeyeguys. He and that team have been great to work with throughout this process, and the car is exactly as I expected based on his description to me (the good and the bad). I had some paperwork issues getting it registered (a silly thing I’ve never seen in 30+ years and 30+ vehicles) but a quick call to David while I was at the DMV and he was able to get the DMV folks what they needed so that I could get everything done right then. Can’t speak highly enough to his customer service and integrity. Bugeyeguys are not cheap to be sure, but I absolutely got what I paid for.
