I've finally started on a 3D model of the Austin Healey 100 that was an iconic sports car when I was a boy, and in my opinion still is. The model, as you can see, is still at an early stage, and is gradually coming together. I'm a little restricted in the amount of time I can spend on it, but will post updates when I can.

I'm just using a set of basic drawings I found on the Internet. Accuracy is probably not all that it should be, but I use a lot of photographs when modeling and they usually provide me with all the details I need. The attached image will give you an idea of the process. This one shows the transition from the bonnet to the wings of the car - the model at the top of the image shows the before, while the one at the bottom shows the after. This is a bit tricky of the 100 and the curvature between the bonnet and the wings is basically a try and see guess. I don't have a real 100 to work from, but as long as it looks right that's the main thing.
