Interesting place to visit.I didn't realize just what all was there until
we walked around the grounds afterwards.

Yes - it had to do with the colored mud made from the bank by the Indians there.

Interesting - I presumed it was something like that.
 
I also found it interesting that one of our Daughter-in-laws bridesmaid's family
owns that store/cafe.While we were there,we asked a couple of the employees,&
nobody knew her.I figured that in a place that small,everybody knows everybody else
there.
Turns out that both employees we asked don't actually live there.
