It’s a good thing they could get out with the jets in close proximity to each other.
 
I was really concerned when I saw the orientation of the lower F-18, I wasn't sure they'd be able to eject cleanly. It was a big relief to see all four chutes.

Military aircrew in 'stable condition' following midair collision at Idaho air show

Two jets appeared to collide and their crews ejected during a performance at an air show at a military base in Idaho. "The aircrew involved in the incident are in stable condition," the base reported.

"Two jets appeared to collide" - appeared? I'm more than 100% certain both flight crews can verify it was way more than appeared to!
 
Knowing the crews are ok, and the general public was not involved, what does an F-16 cost? Times 2 :unsure:

Just FYI, the jets that collided were Navy EA-18G Growlers, not F-16s. Eat cost $67 Million per, so loss was around $134 Million.
 
Well, the most valuable items were saved, for the aircraft, they make new ones every day! $$$$$$$$$!
 
Actually the EA-18G production is concluding with the last fuselage already completed and expected to roll off the line in 2027 it seems. They take some time to complete, not everyday rolling out like WW2 aircraft used to do. According to the numbers I see they've made less that 175 of them all told.
